  • Billing information: Payment details are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
  • Usage data: Anonymous telemetry about feature usage, crash reports, and performance metrics from the desktop application. This data does not include any personal information or project content.
  • Support data: Name, email, and message content when you contact us through the support form.
  • Device information: Operating system version and hardware identifiers used for license activation (limited to 2 machines per account).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account and subscription.
  • To process payments through Stripe.
  • To deliver and activate the VidViz desktop application via license keys.
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • To improve the Service based on anonymous usage telemetry.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts). We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will erase your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

The VidViz website uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded on the website.
